I saw Anna today she was looking for you. When she saw me knowing you would be there with me. Her face quickly went sad seeing her best friend wasn't.
Nobody told her yet. For she is only two.
Will she understand, will she comprehend you're gone. Or will she just forget over time? So I picked her up and took her inside. I sat her on my knee and told her you had to go bye-bye and couldn't come back.
It's been months since I last saw you.
Anna was here today she found one of your toys.
She came inside almost in tears trying to say your name.
We tried to comfort her but all she wanted was you.
So I did the only thing I could I pulled up your photos and showed her some videos.
Soon she was pointing and we were laughing remembering how you played with her remembering the memories.
Even when she was still in the belly you two would play. You would rest your head on her and she would kick at you.
Priceless memories, priceless moments, never forgotten yet forever gone.
